OK … so it’s like 110 today and I was going to go to the pool but I think it may be even too hot for that so I figuerd I would update the blog. The local market looked worse last month - average days on market went up, sold $/sq ft. went down and the number of properties sold went down so not only were fewer properties sold — they took longer and cost less. The kids are now back in school so we can start to expect the typical home sales slide through about March or so of next year. If you have been thinking about investing in a down market now would be a good time to start getting your ducks in a row.
